Do not create a work item when the build fails

by Ewald Hofman 1. July 2009 12:29

When you create a new build definition there is a step by default that will create a work item when the build fails. This work item is customizable, but there is also the possibility to not create a work item. To deactivate the work item creation on a build failure, add the following line to your propertygroup:

<SkipWorkItemCreation>True</SkipWorkItemCreation>

A real usefull tip! sometimes we need to finish a sprint and new functionality is more important than fixing the build (sometimes the build is broken by something stupid that can be fixed later).
